Consent-required vs legitimate-interest, and how to signal consent.

Tracking mode is set per project and defaults to consent-required: the SDK collects nothing until it receives an explicit consent signal. Wire that signal to your cookie banner's accept action.

deepsync("consent", false);This is the number one cause of "the SDK is installed but there are no sessions". If your banner never calls this, a correctly installed SDK will sit there recording nothing forever.
Legitimate-interest mode records without waiting for a signal. Whether that's lawful depends on your jurisdiction, your privacy notice, and what you're capturing — it's a decision for your legal counsel, not a default we'll pick for you.
